Ok, so no matter what I do, I cannot, for the LIFE of me, make any presets (no matter where I get them from) sound even remotely close to the way they're touted. I found a few good sounding ones on youtube and whatnot. The guy who made them even shows a video of him simply opening a DAW, programming a quick beat, and adding a quick verb+limiter everything else is in metal foundry and is sounds boss. I load it into my daw/s2.0 and it just sounds like a pile of DICK. The only thing even remotely close to what I wanna hear is the toms, which are about a billion times louder than anything else in the mix.
Has anyone else had problems like this, and how did you go about fixing the problem?
This is the tone/preset I downloaded: (Download in the description)

I DO NOT understand why this isn't drag and drop, when clearly it should be.
Ok turns out using guitar pro a dropping my midi into cubase is not ideal. it works for cymbals and toms, but the kick ans snare have multiple sounds that need ot be triggered for the same hit and the guitar pro midi file only gives you half of that...i think...
I may try some other things, but basically all I had to do to get the snare sounding like it's supposed to is make a copy of the snare hits and paste them on the piano roll where the other (there's 2 usually) snare hit goes. Seems to have solved the issue.
Now that this works, I and stoked to record some guitars and bass to put over these presets to see how my mixes like them!
