Ooh, a package!

I have that same LD condenser. It's awesome. For the price? Holy fuck.

Yeah, $99 for the pack.

I'm a happy camper right now.

$99 for the two mics. The Motu was $550, it's this:

MOTU.com - 8pre Overview

I had the 828 before and was real happy with it, this thing is just as good. Cake to setup and zero latency with options galore. I really like the hell out of it.

MOTU makes some of the best-sounding and most-reliable audio interfaces.

Still I'd like to be able to get good mics for $99. I don't know much about recording obviously but having a look at that link I think at only $51 more I'd buy that before the UX-8 and your clips are sounding great.

Those goofy 990/991 packs sound WAY better than they have any right to at that price. When GC opened in town, their opening special was that 2 mic pack for $49. I grabbed 2 sets so I have a stereo pair of each. I have made some decent work recordings with the 2 small mics over the drums and the large ones recording live back in the room.

Good score!
