I just got the TD4 cabled up to Superior (using Toontrack Solo) and it's working about 95% where I'd like it. Individual hits are spot on, but drum rolls/multi-hits have a little bit of latency to them - some of the hits get lost in the shuffle.
I have the pad sensitivity a couple of ticks below max on each head, and my MIDI interface is a MOTU 828. It's not unusable, but for REALLY fast stuff I think it'd be noticable, and I'm sure there's just some setting I need to look for to adjust it.
Anyone have any experience here? The kits sound freaking great, I'd just like to dial it in a little cleaner.
this is a real problem with fake drums/triggers. You basically are going to to have to keep messing with the sensitivity until it works correctly. though, that being said, i've never used your specific kit. So maybe it's an easy fix.
