Yet more confirmation - new bass strings are more important than new guitar strings. (not that thats noit important)

Try telling that to bassists though

Also do note that using EMG's help a lot. I also changed from Elixirs (that have a coating) to D'Addarrio, and Elixirs sound wicked good even after 30 hours of playing unless your palms sweat like a pair horny vaginas.
