Good stuff man, death as fuck
Snare could do with a little less 'snap', and some humanising in places, but other than that it's an awesome mix sir

I like the snap!
Yeah, I didn't put any reverb on the snare and I didn't go through the entire midi to edit all the parts yet. Too much work and too much interference from my kid today.

Thanks!

Haha yeah snap is good, but it's got too much of that compressed crack to suit the rest of the drum mix, which is big and weighty. Maybe pitch-shift it down a notch?

Ah yeah I know the feeling. Which is why I'm neglecting mine to type to you right now. Thank fuck for Timmy Time..

Good idea, I'll fiddle with it some more anyway and I've given the bare tracks to someone that will do me a professional mix for free, and possible reamp the guitars too

Well that was fucking awesome, Paul! I think the snare sounds great, personally. Maybe on a couple of parts the crack/snap is little bright or prominent, but I wouldn't dial the compression back too much.

Guitars sound great, too.

Thanks man, very kind. I also feel the same, there are lots of parts that need tweaking

Sounds awesome and I like the snare But, I've always liked a high crack sound on the snare. I use ezdrummer, how do I go about changing the snare's pitch? Do I do it in Reaper, instead of ezdrummer?
