Default Song for my band EP mix/audio test!

Hey guys, my band will be releasing an EP on 2012. This is just a little part of one of the songs that is going to be included on the EP. I would like you to listen to it and give some opinions on what do you think can be improved about the mixing/audio details. Looking forward to read your comments! Cheers!

I'm on a laptop right now so FWIW, the guitar sounds WAY out in front.

Awesome riffage though man!

The guitar tone is grating, too loud, the drums are super fake sounding and thin, is there a bass track on there?

The drawing board is calling. You may perhaps wish to hire someone to record you and then pay close attention how they make stuff sound good. then rip them off on your next album if you try to do it yourself.

Don't mind him, he's Canadian. You'd be angry too if your police rode horses.

Hey guys!
Here's the intro of the song with the updated audio. I will be recording the vocals really soon too. Please leave a comment with respect to the audio/mix details of the songs! Cheers!

Dude, you've got the awesomest sounding toms ever. Period.

I think the guitars could use a little more balls, and there needs to be more *umph* in you kick drum.

Not bad for a home recording. Definitely some beef on the guitars, more bass (and grit up that bass and give it some mids to let it punch a bit). Those toms are almost too much. I'd personally make them a little dryer and tighter, less room/reverb, though it's hard to say, since the guitars/bass aren't sitting right yet, if it's a problem with the drums, or just the guitar/bass issues making the drums stand out too much.

I mean, listen to how the bass sits in the mix here, and how dry the drums are:
