So I decided to ditch my TonePort UX2, because it wasn't really up to par quality-wise, and I wanted something that's got 4 inputs so I can dump two cables from teh HD500, plus a third for a Fishman pickup off a guitar. Also, it'd be nice to do a recording when I jam with friends where I can have a track for me, a track for the bassist, and either a stereo track for the drummer or a submix using my little mixer.
So far it sounds pretty good. A bit more clear sounding with less noise than the UX2 had. For $299, I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not going to be releasing an album with it, just messing around at home and at friends' houses, so it'll suit those needs nicely.
