Got a new guitar in my hands and I'm not sure what to make of it yet. It certainly plays quite well for me, but acoustically, while it sustains, the resonance sounds a little sterile or strangled perhaps? I'm not sure if it's the bright woods, the wood pieces chosen, maybe the scale, or my imagination/pessimism even. What do you think? There's an obvious problem with the bridge pickup (it's a 3-pup model), as it's way too close to the bridge, but that is another issue entirely. I just need some perspectives for when I give feedback on it.
First third of the file is the guitar in question. The rest is other guitars for reference. Not a playing demo, just notessss~.
Sounds fine to me, man. I'd have guessed it was the second guitar that you were having problems with (if it's the second guitar at 0:50). :shrugs:
Bridge pickups sound fairly poo on clean settings, imo, anyhow.
What guitar is it? The Schecter in your info?
