    Blinded by Fear

    Just finished recording this. No post EQ or anything, just exported and compressed for loudness. What would make it sound better?

    That said, the mix does sound really... muffled. I'm no mixing master or anything, but I would aim for more clarity. I'd probably add: compresser, maximizer, and EQ. And I would emphasize more upper range in the EQ.

    Seems like it needs more bass. I'll remedy that when I have time and I'll repost. Thanks for the input dudes!

    Less square-wave smashing when you do it for real.

    The bass is really lacking in low end. In fact, the entire mix is a bit weak in that department.
