I really need to get something, but there seems to be quite a bit of different things out there, and they all seem pretty decent. I don't really know much about this stuff, and I'm sure I probably won't even really use it much, but hey, I might as well give it a shot.
This little bad boy looks pretty snazzy for $30. Plus, the dude in this video is a pretty damn good guitar player.

I'm almost sold on it just from that video. I'm also looking at the Apogee Jam, Line 6 Mobile In, and AmpliTube iRig. I don't really know the pro's and con's of any of these; a lot of reviews seem to be all over the board.
Anyone have any suggestions or any experience with any of the above?
P.S. Some plug into the 30 pin connector, some the headphones... What are some of the upsides to each of these (other than charging the iDevice)?
P.P.S. Fuck it, while I'm at it, I need some headphones... I'm looking at these:
They're an 1/8" input, which would be ideal for the iDevices, but what about something like a 1/4" adaptor for other interfaces?
Headphones? Spend a little extra, get these, never be disappointed ever again. (The 1/4" screws off to give you a 1/8")
