Default More song Production

Been working on this just about all day on and off.... hot as SHIT in my studio... I need a bigger window unit up here pronto...really hinders me during the middle of the day, which is usually when ideas really pop in my head. I did get this song restructured quite a bit though. I'm digging it so far, but I might change the second verse riff, make it a little louder, and keep the drums in there instead of stopping again...I need to hear the new one with Vocals before deciding on that though.

Sounds infinitely better this time around!

The kick sounds a little odd to me, though. Don't know how to place it, it's just weird to my ears.

It's a little too clicky for this song. I adjusted it a little but not much...pretty much just used my go to settings for now....after my drummer tracks it, that will change.

Sounds good!
On a side note...it gets really hot when I record in my room as well! By the time I’m done, I’m practically soaked!

My problem is that my studio is in my attic, and the attic is unfortunately not vented. I did just put a bigger window unit in yesterday, so hopefully that will help (even though it didn't help much yesterday from 3 pm - 7 pm). The room is cool this morning, so hoping this 14,500 BTU unit will be able to maintain that now that is cooled down...or at least make it less than 90+ degrees during the hotter hours of the day. If not, I guess i'm going to have to move my studio because the hot summer days are going to utterly destroy my equipment.

Coming together man.

That riff sort of quotes Born Under a Bad Sign, very cool.

Listening on my phone, so not going to critique audio. But from my phone, most of the drum kit was too loud.

Making metal every night and day.
