Fuck's sake. That is all I can say. I got a new Mac Mini today and hence Mountain Lion. However ProTools has been giving me all sorts of bother trying to get it all set up (mainly because I'm two versions behind on ProTools, and it would cost me £500 to get it up to the current build, and then half my plugins will stop functioning...).
So out of frustration I decided to try out Reaper a bit more. Fucking hell what have I been missing out on? I've set up in very little time what has taken days with ProTools sometimes (mainly because Kontakt is an arse to route sometimes).
Consider me quite humbled, I'm probably going to move to using Reaper permanently. I've yet to do any big audio editing (which is the one thing ProTools has always excelled at over everything else) but if I can get through using it quick enough for editing, PT can go and bollocks.
All I think now is the wasted past couple of years when Reaper would probably have outdone what I was using....aaaargh
Yep. Reaper is awesome man.
