    usb mixer

    what im trying to do is record guitar using amplitube, I also need A phantom powered mic input so I have been looking at the alesis miltimix 4. Since this is a usb mixer will it will be guitar thats plugged into it play it thru my amplitube software?

    I have one of those Alesis mixers, I haven't tried the USB yet, but it's a really nice mixer for the money (especially since I bought mine used ). You should be able to plug in a guitar to it directly and use it in Amplitube, but I haven't tried it yet. You might need a DI box, I can't remember if it has an instrument level input on it.
