So I have the POD HD500. My audio interface (UR22) has line level 1/4", as well as XLR.
If I use the 1/4" outputs, do I need a special cable, or is any old 1/4" cable (like I'd use for instruments) satisfactory?
I've been using a normal cable, but I want to make sure I'm not missing out on the proper levels or something by using the wrong cable.
I think I may have found my own answer. It appears the UR22 has balanced TRS 1/4" inputs, however the POD HD500 has unbalanced (TS) outputs. Perhaps I should instead use the XLR output of the POD HD. I'll have to try that tomorrow. Only thing I need to check is if the POD sums the stereo stuff to a single XLR like it does with the 1/4".
