    new JSX clips up!

SoundClick artist: The Budda Project - page with MP3 music downloads

the top 4 is the new stuff: good clean fun, crunchovchaos, metal is best left to the professionals, and 12 bar w/ lead.

bear in mind, none of this stuff is multi-tracked. Im not sure what the best mic configuration is, so i just went with something that sounds good. the "metal" tone i get sounds a fair bit more full then that, i'll have to work on recording a good example of it.

all in all, i did these more for the tone clips then anything else - critique away!

They sounded ok but it really didn't grab me one way or another. You might want to work on your technique with the mic to get a bit better sound recorded.

Edit: Yeah they playing was good. But it didn't get onto tape that great.

The riff in crunchovchaos is awesome man. What are you tracking them with? As Eric said the recorded tone is pretty thin so it's hard to tell, but I dig the vibe all the same

    thanks guys!

its my roomies recording rig: im not sure what mic - seinheisser something, Garageband, Macbook.

i gotta spend some serious time w/ mic placement for this one. thinkin i'll have at 'er again the weekend after our thanksgiving (2 weeks).

glad you like the crunchOvchaos riffage, Chris!

the clean clip may not be quite as full as it is in the room, and the metal clip Definitely doesnt have the fulllness that i hear in the room.

at some point i'd just to get aaron and his rig over here, and get some quality metal distorted tone going.

Cool stuff. I dig the riffage on the 2nd and 3rd song. Cool blues tune too. Nice playing.
