I've been trying to figure out how to reamp with my setup in Presonus Studio One. I have searched the forum, but I haven't been able to find some useful info, so I'm hoping a friendly soul here is willing to help me.
My setup is my AxeFxII going into my Motu soundcard, which feeds my monitors. My problem is, that I can't figure out how to record a DI signal, listen to it and reamp it, without switching between my soundcard and the AxeII.
I have figured out how to record a DI signal, but I have to switch to the Axe as my soundcard, record and then switch it back to my Motu to listen to it. And I haven't figured out how to reamp it yet.
How do I reamp the DI signal, and is there a way I can do it all without switching back and forth between my soundcard and the Axe?
To record a DI signal without using the axe as a soundcard put an fx-loop block first in your patch on another line from your amp/cab/effects, connect out 2 to your Motu and record whatever comes through.
to reamp you will have to use one of the output channels on your motu-> input(axe)->out 1 -> motu. Did that make sense?
