    DAW upgrade?

So far I've just been using Studio1 artist(the freebie) and it's missing some options I would like(export in MP3). I'm fairly comfortable with it, I'm also a noob to this stuff. To upgrade is $199, to switch to Reaper is $60. Pretty damn tempting considering all the good things I've heard and read about Reaper. Anyone use both? Opinions?

Reaper is awesome man. Tons of us here use it and can help you if you get stuck, and if not, their community and forums are excellent.

Switching DAWs is always painful no matter what you're moving to/from, but IMO Reaper is totally worth it.

Well, right off the bat, Reaper's trial period is 30 days and is fully unlocked, so you lose nothing by giving it a shot. And, loads of folks here use it, so if you have questions you'll get a lot of help.

I agree with the other guys, Reaper is pretty awesome. That being said, Studio One is one of the few DAWs I've liked, and I do have the Producer version. It's pretty awesome.

Iva got some experience with Studio 1 and its a decent little DAW. There is the Artist upgrade option too which is only like €20 and gives you most stuff you'll need. Otherwise like everyone said, reaper is good. I've not used it myself so I can't comment on how good it is.

Drew has already helped me a bunch with my switch to Reaper from Sonar. Between the knowledge on the forums here and Reaper's you shouldn't run into many issues with using it.
