since there are black friday-sale going on I wanted to ask about your personal preference for AMP modelling-software.
I'm currently using Guitar Rig 5 for practicing & amateur recordings. I wanted to try out something else and I can't decide on getting BIAS FX Desktop or EZMix2 (With these insane discounts I could get both though.. )
I like that you have this store where you can download other peoples AMPs in BIAS FX and it seems to get a lot of good reviews. What do you think?
So far, I've found Bias pretty unuseable not matter how much tweaking I've tried, the only really useful function that I've found in it is the Tone-Matching. Trick is to work through other users presets and find something close to what you're looking for and then match from there. Even then, I was actually only using the Tone-match feature to fool my Kemper with a tone I was chasing, playing through Bias just doesn't feel 'right'.
I've not done a huge amount of messing around with the EZMix presets, but the ones that I heard from the Sneap pack seemed to be useable.
