This is an incredibly basic question that's probably been answered a hundred times but I'm too lazy/ghetto to use google search to find the answer (again)...
Anyway, I just got EzDrummer hooked up to my new desktop station and remember when I was first researching this stuff, that there was this Keith Merrow video showing how to manually punch in your "from scratch" MIDI composition of the drum beats. Can't seem to find that video again no matter how hard I search and I was wondering what do I need to do to get my own original punched in drum tracks.
Naturally I'm new to this and currently using Garageband and not sure if it can be done in there or if I need separate MIDI composition software. Thanks.
I think people who use Garage Band write out their MIDI in something else first, then import to GB. That sounds like a huge pain to do, though. I'd suggest you grab a decent DAW instead of GB. Either Reaper, which is free to try, or Cubase, the king of MIDI programming.
