    Suck 'em right off

I've finally written a song I'm pleased with!

It's still not finished, but I'll play it live on Thursday.
No bass yet recorded, and minimal keys. Drums are Superior 2.0, guitar is a 2027 for electric and acoustic, pre-amp is JMP-1 into a G-Major into a Mesa impulse, and the keys are Cubase SX 2's A1 VST. I like that VST; modest but cool.

I've been writing very slowly this last year and I haven't really come up with any significant quality, but I'm really pleased with this. It's in no way finished, 'cause I plan to either write more for this song and develop some of its themes or to make a multi-part song and use an arrangement of this as its first section.
I feel like I've turned a corner on this one, found a kind of 'sound' I want to go with.

Definitely got some cool parts. Looking forward to a finished product.
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

    Thanks guys.

I have had to stop writing for a while to learn 4 new songs for a gig tomorrow, but I want to keep writing on this, then record it properly.

That was absolutely badass. Killer keyboards, killer rhythm and nice drumwork. I love the lead tone too, very nice. Nice work!
