This was about the axis, not the magnetic poles. And, the axis shifted by about 3 centimeters.

I thought I was feeling a little off these last few days...

It's amazing how something so small in comparison to the size of the earth can have such an impact on it overall. Building dams have also created a similar effect on the earths axis and rotation. Quite fascinating.

You shake your ass but you're already dead.

considering theres only like 20 plates, its not too suprizing.

and post some referances for that building dams effected the earths axis stuff because that sounds like major bs(i dont know, but it sounds like it is)

Dams for Water Supply Are Altering Earth's Orbit, Expert Says - NYTimes.com

Three Gorges Dam and the Earth's rotation | The Energy Library

It's the same principle as the earthquake, a shift in mass causes a change in rotational speed / axis. In both cases though, the changes are smaller than other more regular changes (shifts in atmospheric mass etc) so they're not really significant.

Dyed red hair, a forest green dress and a pair of kitchen knives. It was the last time I ever saw a rose.

I'm just waiting for the continental plates to shift land masses back into one super continent. That way when I see a rare guitar I want, I dont have to ship it from fucking over seas.
