The wait is over. It all starts next week.
Anyone watching pre-season games? Expectations for this year?

I went to the pre-season Stars game on Thursday, they beat the Avs 5-2. Stars so far have won all their pre-season games. Listening to the game right now, it's not being broadcasted locally...

    Watching SJS-vs-Van tonight.

NYR wins the cup this year.

Dallas Stars suck. Ott is still a punk. I hope he tries to fight SJS's Douglas Murray again this year. Much hilarity will ensue.

Les Habs are still the Bruins bitches for not doing anything about Chara's hit. Shame on you. Had that happened during the Roy era, the Boston Garden would've looked like a crime scene. Instead it looked like Ed Norton's shower scene in American History X.

I think that about wraps it up.

Really? Why? If Brad Richards is back at 100%, they will sure be better than last year. But they always choke.

7-3 Boston vs Habs right now.
It's ok to have the Bruins have their time. Hell, look at how many times we've beaten them before.

Because I keep telling myself that everytime I renew my Center Ice package.

Actually they got rid of Drury and the front office is finally letting Tortorella run the club the way he wants. Which means he's got a core of young players who bought into his system. It's basically the same philosophy that he used @ Tampa. Except now that he's got a front office with a larger budget.

7-3 Boston vs Habs right now.

Stars are a deeper team this year, the salary that Richards cleared up allowed them to fill some key holes. I also like the Michael Ryder pickup, he's going to be a good first liner.
