he's officially down in their books as a potential call-up driver anyway.
It could potentially do his reputation more harm than good - I don't see what he personally has to gain from this after being adamant he is done with F1. It's ridiculous. What the hell do Ferrari pay Gene and Badoer for if they let him jump straight into the car? He hasn't even laid a finger on the F60, hasn't tested an F1 car properly since early '08 (afaik) and will be driving in straight lines right up until FP1 on the Friday...I'm sure he'll pick it up quickly and all but surely there are more sensible replacements.
I agree though F1Filter, this should spark some interest - especially after so may people are getting fed up with this season and all the FIA vs FOTA nonsense. I never liked Schumacher, but at the very least it'll be fun to see him clash with Lewis, Mark, Seb, Jenson etc. if he picks up the pace in time
