Damn, didn't realize that's who's been keeping us from scoring Go Caps then I suppose.

Tim Thomas is overrated???
go back and watch last years playoffs , he basically single handedly won them the cup.
He was very average in this series as I think the whole team was.
They didn't even look upset when they lost. When Thomas is on he's ridiculously good.
This Series I don't think he was on.
Holtby was good, but the Bruins made him look better than he had to be. I lost count of how many shots they put into his gut. Shooting right at him isn't going to score goals.
He did make some good saves in this series, but he hasn't 'stolen" anything.
Saying Thoms is overated is like saying Lundquist is overrated, when those guys are on , the are "on".
I gotta go with St. Louis now, that team looks like they are on a mission.

I don't need no stinking tubes

When he's off he's terrible and when the defense isn't playing great defensively in taking away second opportunities and passing lanes and only giving up straight shots then he's also not very good. Had these two teams traded goalies bruins would've killed the caps. Not necessarily because Holtby makes them a better team but because Thomas styles of play would get massacred by Washingtons often subpar defense.

Come on man, he's basically had one great season to win the Cup. This season was not very good for him and you're basically proving the overrated point here...

that happened here when simmonds got traded to Philly. Was so nasty especially since anyone who actually watched hockey knew it was a good trade.

Not sure what you mean by "here"? Do you mean in Ithica? As much as I hate the Flyers I didn't see or hear any of that down here (doesn't mean it didn't happen though), and I'm 5 miles from Philly and spent two weeks watching their training camp in August/Spetember with the general public. most of the Flyers fans down here were shocked at losing two guys they liked, but when word got out they were frequently hung over the fans got over it pretty damned quick.
