Over 2 seconds quicker than the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition, which held the record for about 14 days.
No need for "flappy gear paddles", no ridiculously intricate aero bits. Just gobs of torque and BHP, huge amounts of mechanical grip from bulldozer-sized wheels, and a gigantic wing in the back. Couple all this with a driver that monster trucks over the curbs and makes his downshifts sound like a shotgun blast (synchromesh? Pfft!!! What's that???)

Granted. All that horspower and torque from an 8.4L V-10 helps a lot when tackling the uphill sections. He does make up a lot of time from 4:50-5:50 in the vid because of that. But still. Not to shabby for a car that's been discontinued, to make way for the next gen Viper scheduled for next year.
