I ask this because I'm looking at an aftermarket exhaust system for my Challenger. The one below is getting excellent reviews. It's suppose to sound great on the outside of the car but keep it quiet inside the car with "no drone." The one term I'm not familiar with is "j-pipe." I see it in the photo, but what does it actually do? Does exhaust come out of it? Does it connect to something else? From my understanding, the j-pipe is what keeps away the drone. Am I right?

J pipe? Man, that's new to me. In the muscle car world, I'm used to seeing H or X pipe.
