Last April my father and I did an engine swap to my first car, a 1993 190e Mercedes Benz. She had 330,250 miles and was leaking oil into the coolant reservoir among other issues (leaky head gasket;had overheated some 100k miles earlier). Finally said enough was enough and found a shop that sold used engines with a warranty. After a month and a half of working on the swap, we finished and got her back on the road. I went from the 190e 2.6l to a 300e 3.0l Let me just say, I've learned a lot and my wallet has too
I have a plethora of pictures of the swap but I thought it would be interesting to show you guys pics and clips of my new Magnaflow exhaust that I got two weeks ago.
cell camera is clipping a bit but you get the idea

clip 2 here
Really not loud at all, but I can hear it a bit in the cab when I step on it
Resonator is still the stock one, it would be much much louder if I removed it, but I may just replace it after I finish restoring the car. Next is AC compressor, a few fuel system parts, new springs & bushings, wheels/tires, paint...
She needs a bath but here is a pic of the front...
Also, thank you to Xan for the inspiration with his Volvo project. Don't worry I will be back to post a buttload of pics too
Looks nice I wish I had the funds for a project car
