I have a 2008 Saturn Vue with about 77777 miles on it. I've done nothing but oil changes for the life of the vehicle (and minimal stuff like air filter changes, tires, etc), and have put off more indepth maintenance due to money. Realizing I need this vehicle to live a long time, I figured it's about time I save some dough to give this thing it's due routine maintenance.
Any advice? Follow the manual and do each recommended process? Avoid dealers? Skip this or that?
According to the Googles, the timing belt interval on that (unless it's the 2.2L) is 100k, but it never hurts to get it done a little early. A rear differential service is always a good idea every 25k or so, as well as a transmission fluid and coolant flush.
