My first car, she was a good girl:
1996 Toyota Camry LE. 235 and such on the Odo, but at that age, she's not really worth fixing up to me.
Been looking at a bunch of cars, and ended up getting a 2010 Matrix base w/ touring package (fog lights, spoiler, alloys) + the windows were already tinted.
Oh, and it's stick (which I'm currently learning how to drive )
Pretty stoked to have a sweet and reliable ride! Didn't get the best of prices, and I have learned that next time my father will always come with me.
I've already stalled it a few times, as expected. Hopefully within a week I will be driving like a pro. The "hard" parts are moving from a dead stop, and hills. A little leery about hills, need to find some good practice ones!
You get the hang of it quick. Learn to feel where the bite point is and you will learn to compensate wirth your right foot for hills naturally. It's all about a bit of mechanical sympathy and understanding!
