Since selling my 1974 H-D Sportster, I've had way too many reliable vehicles in my life. Time to spend some money on something that needs some wrenching.
I've wanted a 1984-1989 Nissan 300zx (Z31) since tween-hood, so I've started hunting for one. Must be a manual transmission turbo with T-tops for around $3000. Ideally 1984-86 (they changed the styling in '87). REALLY would love to find an '84 Anniversary Edition (found this: 300ZX 300 zx Anniversary Edition 1984, but shipping puts it out of my price range).
Went to check out this one two weeks ago:
Clean, but it has some electrical gremlins, including intermittent starting problems. Made a deal with the seller for $2800, but when I went to pick it up last weekend, it wouldn't start. Changed my offer to $750 since I'm viewing it as a non-running project car at this point, and I'm waiting for his counter-offer.
I've been scouring Craigslist and eBay for a few weeks with no new leads - wish me luck...
A Buddy of mine pickups one of those up for about $850 running. But Still man hopefully you get it. I have loved the next gen 300zx's my self. 9I think it was next gen... Like 91 or so)
