Yep, I have another new ride. This is the 3rd variant of the Vectra C I've owned, some of you will remember my 3.2 GSi hatch and the 3.0 V6 diesel Signum too. This time, the weapon of choice is a 2006 facelift 2.8T Elite estate, picked up as a Network Q (Vauxhall's approved used department) car with just 44,700 miles on the clock. It looks pretty much like every other Elite spec estate, bar the 18's, but most folks will probably miss the small "V6 turbo" badge on the back and assume it's either a 2.2 petrol or 1.9 diesel. Actually, it's packing the same running gear as the VXR underneath, albeit slightly detuned to 230bhp. VERY tempted to remap it though, since just £320 gets me to full-fat 2nd phase VXR 285bhp levels Even as it stands (and with a slush-matic since there were no manual 2.8 Elites) it's still fast as fuck and handles amazingly, without having a nasty harsh ride.
Anyway, onto a craptastic pic for now:
