Listening to car talk while wrenching on cars Saturday mornings has been a big part of my existence for years. So sad.

This sucks. Always loved listening to these guys. I was really disappointed when they stopped doing new shows a year or two ago, but I didn't realize he had Alzheimer's.
I play bass in a band called Weaponlord.

I also play bass in a band called Northern Crown.

I used to play bass in a band called Faethom.

Same, my mom used to play it all the time in the car. Sad news indeed.

Man, I feel like I've lost a crazy uncle. Spending Saturday mornings listening in the garage with my dad was a weekly ritual for a better part of the last decade. RIP

The article is spot on. Tom's laugh was infectious. I can recall so many times laughing at the show because of Tom's chortle and missing the majority of the real joke completely. I am a big car talk fan and am certainly sadden by this news.
