How about we run this new hybrid thing from the week of March 1st (first track due Friday March 6th) through Friday, April 3rd. That's just 5 weeks, instead of 8. It gives everyone some time to prep and shortens the commitment time.

The question no one asked, but might want to hear the answer:

Q: Why do I love SAW?

A: I no longer have the ability to be in a band, write songs with others, record, play shows etc. But, SAW creates the framework that compels me to write new songs, record/mix them and play them for others to hear.

Bonus answer: It also gives me access to cool new tunes from guys like T Gobbs, Scole, Mr S, Nick, Markus, 7DT, Bohmer, astrocreep, Rocka, KarlHV, TheKindred, Connor, Rev Drucifer, BlankPlank, Cobra Commander, Lozek, 7deadlysins and Chris's random pickup he's trying to pawn off on some unsuspecting fool.

Bonus answer #2: It's helped me grow as a player, songwriter, sound engineer and tone-junky. Not to mention the umpteen pup swaps I've done on the fly while getting ready to create another entry. Took me about an hour to swap a pup when this all started, I swapped a pair in under 20 minutes last Friday.

Bonus answer #3: It puts hair on your chest. (or so I hear, I already had a lot, but it's migrating to my shoulders, ears and nose... pretty sure that's due to SAW... or old age... no, definitely SAW.)

I have no idea if anyone is still interested in this, if they are, I can run it, but noone replied to the last lot of threads about it...

Next Saturday is better for me, as I'm gigging this Saturday, but go with whatever works better for the general populous.

If I get my act together there might be a riff to noodle over.

That's 'cause your too busy buying new gear to play the old gear you already have.

So, threw together some riffs for lead a week 1. Looking for everyone else to contribute as well. Needs to be about 1 minute-ish, have 2-4 parts, but not go on forever. PM if if you want to make my life easier.

Idea is I'll run covers, originals and a lead per week. Something for everyone. And less haslle for me as only one thread to do and keep track of.

Either start this saturday, or the next, although as fair warning I am thinking next saturday

Next Saturday works for me.

And, for leads, if you want any section of any of my prior submissions, let me know and I can section off just those riffs.
