My band's gonna need a bit of artwork for obvious reasons.

Try Bob Ross' kid. I would have suggested the man himself, but you added the requirement of "alive".

JP does great work - the original paintings for the first two Pharaoh albums are hanging in the house of Pharaoh’s guitarist and the detail is really great. However, since JP decided to kill his dad, he’s probably alive, but unavailable.

    Thanks gents,

I emailed JP but no response... Now I know why
Couldn't find any contact for Steven though. I did get some leads off another painter and a friend.

Depending if you want to have something specific based on your ideas, or if you would take some ready stuff also - I made very good experiences with this guy: https://www.facebook.com/headsplitdesignofficial

Bought the last album cover as well as some shirt designs from him. you can find his designs also very often with Bands like Origin, Terrorizer, Beneath The Massacre, Psycroptic, Pig Destroyer etc.
He has a very specific kind of style, so you either like (almost) everything he does or nothing at all.
