Yeah, that's part of the reason I game on PC - I'm going to have a computer anyway, so might as well buy a PC that runs games. If I buy a console, I'll just have another machine that stands around not being used 99 % of the time.

Consoles are like $200 you cheap hookers. It's not like they're a massive investment.

Yeah, but they take up space (and that's something I don't have too much of in my apartment) + buying a piece of electronics that I'll barely use is a terrible use of natural resources.

All the best games are released on PC first anyway - like Divinity 2.

I mean, if you can saddle up on your couch to your PC for the games, I suppose, you really don't need a console.

But I can't, so I bought an Xbox One that I spend ~3 hrs/wk on playing pretty much just Borderlands from the comfort of my couch

They do make controllers for PC

I built my wife a mini ITX system that lives in our entertainment center so we can game together. I game on my gaming laptop on a folding table from the couch, she sits back with a controller on the couch using the TV.

We used to do a lot of split screen gaming, but the games are so few and far between I finally convinced her that PC gaming is the way to go. Unfortunately it doubles the cost of any game we buy to play together since we both need a copy, but it's a price I'm willing to pay. Actually having my full field of view back is worth it.

Just hit level 10, finished all the starter quests up to where you get the map.

Love the gameplay changes/updates so far, especially the secondary option for some of the guns. Kinda missing the usual fun vibe of the game though. I feel like i just got dropped into the world and started doing bitch quests. Hoping the storyline opens up a bit.

Haven't had much time to play but after 5-6 more levels this hasn't changed. This game is ok, but it just feels like DLC. Not nearly as fun as the last two.
