Now I played a game against somebody who was just above my own skill level. We had some "back and fourth" action going on, he attacked me and I deflected... I attacked him and he deflected... So even tho I got beaten, it doesn't make me feel like a shit person!
Seems like there's some hope. My multitasking was a litttlleee better than yesterday. WOHOO!!!

I played this a lot about 10 years ago, before I had kids. This and Total War were the only games I played. If they were offered on Nintendo Switch I might try and get into them again but not on the pc. My laptop is old as it is and that would be too much for it.

Don't think AOE would be any good on a controller personally but it might just take some getting used to.

If you can swing ~$400 for a laptop that can handle Steam, you should be able to rock out some AOE2

Not to sound ignorant, but what is Steam?

    https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...itive_Edition/

It's sort of a gaming portal, through which you can play TONS of games, some classic, some brand new, some lofi, some HD, and play multiplayer online that may have previously used a special server service (like AOE2 for example).
