    I can think of few guitars as sexy as the pre-lawsuit Mirages and Horizons. I'm glad I got mine back when the prices were good on them, because that shit now is absurd.

    Yeah that's right in my wheelhouse. It'll probably get asking price too but that's a little cheeky for me, especially the "plug the tone pot hole with gum" technique.

    Ripper of a fiddle though, if it goes anywhere near $1200 I'll jump on it.

    Yeah, I'm still a little amazed at what '80s ESPs go for. I paid about $500 for my old The Mirage Custom, which was only a little more of a beater than this one.

    I have to remember that they are pretty old guitars, now.
