New Scenariot (one of my bands): Worlds Within Worlds

Last year, I spent a load of time locked away either writing/demoing material for my next solo album, or helping out in the studio with Scenariot. The latter has finally finished a full album of material and release date now imminent. This is the first single of the upcoming album (2 more will probably be released in between).

Sounds good man! Kind of reminds me of old Smashing Pumpkins here and there.

How many FTT pedals did you use on this?

    Thanks man!

I was actually much more involved on the production side this time around. While bass was my main responsibility, I played a few guitar parts (on Upsilon in particular thickening up some of the chunky riffs) and a few additional keyboards. First time we used my Kemper for production too. All the guitar and bass sounds were dialed by the singer and myself (though the 5150 profile won 90% of the time). I helped on the vocal side as well arranging harmonies and occasionally manning the console. The whole bit crushed outro on Upsilon is all me, messing around with some pedals.

Surprisingly not much. Maybe one or 2 drives and a few cables. EDIT: I did use the Korg Miku Stomp in Upsilon.

Working my way through this one today (work's been stupid, so I don't get more than 5 minutes at my desk at a time).

Drumming is absolutely superb. You vocalist has a great Labrie style high and vibrato, without sounding nasally like he does. Loving HOW synths and effects are being used.

Also, first line of "Fade Away" sounds like he says "Weenie sometimes..." which is glorious.
