I'm with you. Never thought my favorite new artist would a 17 year old white girl but here we are.

Man, you aren't kidding - I've had Bad Guy stuck in my head the past week since I first heard it.

Haven't listened to anything in the OP yet. She gets spammed in the YT trending the last few months, just never got around to playing anything. They have one song of hers that makes the rounds on the local stations and it's super slow and you can't hear what she's saying, so I shut it off in the first like 15 seconds every time it comes on but I'm sure there's better stuff than that.

Haha that might be When The Party's Over. She does get annoyingly soft/mumbly at times but that's just her style I guess.

I dunno, that sort of thing is decidedly not pop, it's just electro-goth stuff that Camden kids listen to

haha it doesnt sound that far removed from pop to me! Apart from the really good songs:

Also very good live, I accidentaly caught her at brutal assault a few years back not knowing who she was whilst wandering around half cut

Listened to, I believe, the bulk of the Billie Eilish stuff yesterday. It's kinda Lorde meets Dir Antwoord. The music and overall sonic aesthetic is a dark lolita thing, but it's pretty much half the experience or less without the visual component. Not sure how organic their whole 'thing' is but it's definitely a performance art piece.
