    This isn't even close to my favorite song by Black Sabbath, but it is the quintessential metal template. Tri-tone riff, dark lyrics, huge sounding guitars. That was the song that changed the band (in name and style), and the music world, forever.
    You're not wrong, but this song was before my time. That song is definitely one of the defining songs of metal as a genre, but I didn't get into Sabbath right away. I was all about thrash and NWOBHM bands.
