I think your band name is cool dude. And I've listened to your old stuff - I think the mix is fine, the songs are awesome, and the vocals that you've posted on here are pretty badass too. I would be on cloud nine if my best recording sounded as good as your worst.

Stop worrying about it and rip it up.

    I'm NOT a good singer!

Would Primal Fear, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Judas Priest etc ever accept me as their new frontman in case they looked for one?

No, and that's because I'm not a very good singer!

I would never be accepted in any of those bands!

My voice is not on par with the greats, and I will not release something with subpar vocals (my vocals) because it ruins everything

The lead guitar parts I'm mostly keeping regardless of how they were recorded, as that's the "voice" of my music and should stay constant.
Yeah, keeping some original things are cool for sure

If I had some DI tracks for some of my old songs I would like to keep the original solos but I know I can play them better now, anyway.

My old high school band is re-doing all the tracks from our demo from 95. The songs still suck but at least the guitars don't sound like we miked a toilet at the end of cave.

My band has been thinking about rerecording some choice tracks from the first album. I wasn't in the band at the time, but the recording was bad, the mix didn't do any favors to the tracks, and the singer on the record left shortly after under fairly acrimonious terms. There are a few stinkers on the record but there's about an EP of solid material on there that would really benefit from a crunchy guitar tone and properly mixed drums. Maybe we'll do it in the next few years, but we struggle to even put out new material in a timely manner.
    C'mon son.

Lol not that album! The one before it. Your mix was pretty great, especially given the tracks we gave you. I've done some mixes of those tracks and we did not give you choice tracks.
