I personally prefer the interpretation that rock has actually been dead for decades and its current state is a form of undeath. Like "shambling decaying facsimile lurching around" kind of undeath.

The correct response to "rock is dying" is usually, "Well don't you think it's about time someone put it out of its misery?".

The fucking bros wearing leather going around fist bumping each-other being like, "ROCK N ROLL, I PLAY ROCK N ROLL" are the fucking worst.

Besides, all the cool people spell it "Rawk". I don't consider my genre "Rock", but "Rawk"? Definitely.

No one will ever top Prince in the "Complaining about how unfairly the music industry has treated them." category. Certainly not this dude. Until Donald Trump, no one had been treated more unfairly by the music industry than Prince.

Clickbait video title is clickbait. Don't waste your time.

Rock is pretty resilient. I don't think guitar driven music is going anywhere.
