    Bands like Solstafir and Sigur Ros have fans all over the world, despite singing in a language with a bit more than 300,000 speakers. There's no reason why a band not singing in English can't become popular.

    Also the only way to keep a minority language alive is to actively use it and to create new music, books etc. I think it'd be a shame if the Celtic languages died out because of everyone thinking it's easier to just use English.

    It was a 50/50 guess as her first album was in Welsh. We can keep Cornish alive as they do Cider and holidays.
