Who's that? The other guitarist in Black Label Society?

He looks like the kind of guy who would bitch about affirmative action even though he got a signature model guitar just for being in a band with Zakk Wylde.

I always just figured Zakk picked the non Zakk Wylde members of Black Label Society up at VH1 casting calls. You just go to a VH1 casting call in Vegas and pick out the guys wearing bandanas and eye shadow.

The only mid level touring bands I listen to that are current these days are Ghost and Avatar. Timeless looks that never go out of style, I suppose.

I'm guessing he came to terms with middle age and hair loss. Takes some of us longer than others...

Schaffer looks like Zeus got tired of slinging lightning bolts and now he's just slinging Gibson LPs instead

It was better when he picked them from Subway.

That ibby bass chest rock though.

Edit: His playing in that video is so fucking glorious too. If I didn't know who that was, you could pick any ~45 seconds of that video and play it for me and I'd immediately know who it was. I don't get into anything he does these days but he really is one of the last truly unique guitar players that I can remember.

    Such a monster talent.
