I'm on listen three and so far I'm quite disappointed with the album. It does all the right things and I should be into it, but I'm struggling to find the killer choruses and classic riffs. I still think the outro to 'I Sever' is brilliant and the chorus to 'Calcified' (while being clearly Gojira worship) is solid, but the rest of the songs are just going past in a whirl of aggression but not much content. I'm going to persevere maybe to listen seven or eight because I desperately want to be blown away by it and I know I don't always instantly connect with albums which go on to become my favourites.

About 95% of reviews I've read praise the new album. I need to stop listening to it so that I don't get tired of it after a month.

Hope it grows on you! IMO, it's definitely a "new" Sylosis.
