i feel like not many bands can release an album 25 years later and have it sound modern and fresh while still maintaining a distinct enough sound that you instantly know who it is as soon as they start playing.

The new stuff is not grabbing me yet, I was obsessed with Surgical Steel so I may have too high an expectation.

Dig it! I will always love Carcass as it was my favorite band growing up. Even Carcass at their worst (Swansong) is still good Carcass

I love it. Saw them live with Suffocation and Behemoth 11 years ago at the Palladium in Worcester, MA and actually got to hang out with Terrance Hobbs and Derek Boyer in Suffo. Carcass has always been one of my favorite bands and have been a huge influence on me growing up. Surgical Steel was awesome too.
