That's my spirit riff. It's like a spirit animal of riffs.
Same for me that's how I learned palm mutes back in the day. With The old tabbit program for windows 95 and my step dads vh record.

Garrett is correct with his answer of Ain't Talkin Bout Love, so I'll go with the next best track on that album - Little Dreamer.

Definitely contends for Greatest Riff of All Time.

It was the first Van Halen song I heard in the parking-lot with my Dad at 13 Years Old, as soon as I heard it. I was hooked and I didn't even know what was about to happen next.

It was so articulate, dark, smoky, sinister. It sounded like something unknown rose out of the earth and took hold of you.

I can't imagine what it was like as a kid to listen to music for so long on vinyl and then hear Van Halen 1. It had to be life changing.

Drop Dead Legs, Panama, Hot For Teacher are all super close 2nds. Especially Panama, felt like you were going to Paradise in a super fast car.

But I also never get tired of "Runaround" or "Humans Being." You could throw "Poundcake" in there too. Powerhouse of a song.

    Glorious SLO Tone.
