Any bands looking for a new manager?

Lady Antebellum's old one is probably looking for a new job.

This is like the real life equivalent of rolling a critical miss on a PR maneuver. It blows my mind that no one actually had the foresight to be like, "Hey, maybe we should google to see if anybody is already using the band name. This seems like a good preemptive move that would dodge what has a high likelihood of coming our way and get us good PR for being ahead of the curve and looking like we did it of our own volition, but wouldn't it be unfortunate if we accidentally shot ourselves in the foot by publicly supporting the Black Lives Matter movement by stealing a black artists name?"

Anyone taking bets on how long it takes Lady Antebellum to blow it again after they apologize for this gaffe and announce that since "Lady A" was already taken and they are still committed to progressive causes they are changing their name to......

    "New Woman Antebellum"

...to reflect their new mindset. But their fans can just can call them "NWA".

Holy crap, I've seen the news about Lady Antebellum changing their name, but I never looked into what it was. Lady A? What a half assed publicity stunt

Ah, that probably explains it - country isn’t really a thing over here.
