    Nasty Savage appreciation thread

Since Chris disrespected Nasty Savage in another thread I think we need a thread on these legends.

Who are Nasty Savage? Legends of Thrash, underground Pro Wrestling and local hair salon commercials.

I know that there are at least a couple of non poseurs on here who know about Nasty Savage. Definitely Crooks and Mike at the very least.

    Nasty Savage FAQ

Q: Why does the guy from Nasty Savage dress like a pro wrestler?

A: Because in addition to being a sick vocalist/frontman and a legend of hair care commercials he is also a pro wrestler motherfucker.

Q: Is Black Jack Mulligan a fool for fucking with Nasty Ronnie?

    A: Yes.

Q: Am I a poseur for not knowing about Nasty Savage.

    A: Definitely.

Q: OK. Nasty Ronnie is clearly a triple threat. But surely there are things he can't do. Can Nasty Ronnie read the future in a Crystal ball?

A: Yes. Dude is a quadruple threat. Possibly a quintuple threat. Wrestling promoter, hair care promoter, vocalist, front man, oracle, sun glass conneiseur.

Q: OK, that is all pretty cool. But how does Nasty Savage stay hydrated?

A: According to this legendary bootleg live cover, they drink from the Goblet of Gore, after killing three tribes. In a row. That is a slow day for Nasty Savage.

Q: The Goblet of Gore? Am I, a poseur who has never heard of Nasty Savage, worthy of drinking from the Goblet of Gore?

A: No. Unless you kill three tribes. In a row. Even then it's only a maybe.

Q: Surely this is some sort of stupid jest for attention. There is no way these guys are actually legit thrash legends.

    A: Wrong.

Ah, yes, Nasty Ronnie smashing TV sets on his chest, head, the stage, whatever...

"Indulgence" was such a weird record, with all the herky-jerky stops and starts. Cool band, though, and great live.

Of course, they don't regularly play the US at all. Mostly overseas fests. But you can still catch them at the occasional date like Famine Fest.

Yeah, the only place to see them now is in Europe. Fun band live for sure.
