    At first glance maybe the new version sounds "weaker" but... The more natural/dry drum sound of the new version is a concious mixing decision, as I wanted to get away from that over-triggered sound I had on the original.

    Actually, I’d say the new track sounds “fuller” and the guitar is has a bit more clarity

    I was mostly talking about the drums guitars are definitely better in every way.

    Funny thing about the guitars on original Metal Strikes Back (2013)

    ... its the same strings as the first Rocka Rollas album from 2011 I was a cheap fuck back then.

    You know what I find interesting is that I would totally expect you to spend forever mixing and tweaking an album. I’m jealous of your ability to not do that.
